Long Tom River Class 1 Wednesday Evening After Work Paddle

The Long Tom River which lays in the Southwest Willamette Valley is reservoir fed by Fern Ridge Reservoir. Its low consistent flow is maintained through the Summer by the Corps of Engineers for irrigation. This paddle will be shallow, slow and safe for beginners, but interesting for intermediates working the river for that best line. Our flat water paddlers will be comfortable too. Being not too far North of Eugene, I hope to see some of those members too this evening. Paddle will be about 2 hours, 3.5 miles. Register for the paddle on the WKCC website to receive email with launch, shuttle, and takeout details.
