North Santiam Class 1+ Buell Miller to Jefferson

The Lower North Santiam being reservoir fed has consistent cold flow. We will be down river of true white water, and see swift chutes and focused gravel bars. Large gravel, some wood, some stranding channels. About a 5 hour paddle of 13.5 miles with the paddlers option to take a shorter 8.2 mile paddle. Paddlers will need skill of basic control to choose their path and stay clear of wood. Register for this paddle on the WKCC website to receive further details about the launch, shuttle and take out.
