Paddle the South Santiam with us, this is my favorite venue of the evening paddles. This paddle is suitable for learners &amp; newbies, it does have spots where a canny paddler can catch some small surf. Good steady current, no wood, a little splash and gurgle but nothing dangerous. We found a place to get on the river on the South side of Lebanon, and have access to private land below Lebanon to give a paddle of about 3.5 miles, about 1.5hrs The launch is undeveloped and has a long portage of about 600ft, the takeout is a shallow gravel bar.<br />Register for this paddle to receive an Email with launch and takeout details.
