Upcoming River Cleanups -- Great way to meet fellow boaters and do good.

May 9, 14, 16 & 21. There’re now 4 monthly Willamette River cleanups—Portland, Salem, Corvallis and Eugene. Check Willamette Riverkeeper website for meeting location and signup. willamette-riverkeeper.org.

June 7. First Fridays March to November. Friends of Finn Rock Reach. Cleanup sponsored by McKenzie River Trust. Check mckenzieriver.org for details, signup and numerous other events

June 29. Coast Fork Willamette cleanup. For details see www.coastfork.org

July 18. Paddle and Pull (invasive 
species) between Corvallis & Albany. Willamette-riverkeeper.org

October 5, Saturday. Great Willamette Cleanup 2019. WKCC will be coordinating a cleanup site again. Stay tuned.

Welcome to the WKCC and Oregon Paddling!

The Willamette Kayak and Canoe Club has a membership of over 300, and is based in the Willamette Valley of Western Oregon. The club's goals are to: 

  • Organize paddling trips on all types of water, all over Oregon and other Western states, for its members.
  • Help members acquire the confidence and skills needed for kayaking and canoeing.
  • Promote the enjoyment, challenges, thrills, and camaraderie of kayaking and canoeing.
  • Promote and practice water safety.
  • Help conserve, preserve and protect the free-flowing rivers of Oregon.
