About this event
"Dave's Creek" is an experiment in posting paddles, without knowing the venue at this time. This time of year river levels and conditions change quickly. We will size up the skillset of the registrants, select a suitable venue for all, and send an e-mail with details the evening before the paddle. It will generally be class 1-2 moving water within 20 miles of the mid valley.
We will keep the difficulty low to avoid immersions, dry suits are recommended this time of year as the water and air are cold. You will need a Covid safe shuttle plan. A shuttle within your own household is a best practice, it may involve driving more than 1 vehicle. By prior request we may have a couple of Tandem Canoe seats available pairing you with an experienced paddler. Register for this paddle on the WKCC website to help form the plan. (registration activates your club insurance)
