Events - Event View

This is a pretty 5.5 mile stretch of river that includes the confluence of the North and South Santiam Rivers. Overall, the river is reasonably calm but there is wood in a few places that needs to be avoided. Paddlers should have the ability to actively avoid obstructions. The launch is gated and the gate may or may not be open. If the gate is not open, there is a carry of about 300 yards to get to the river (help will be available for carrying boats).
