Events - Event View

This is the classic Packsaddle section of the North Santiam but with a takeout at Fishemans Bend instead of Mill City. This adds about 2 miles and gives a much easier takeout. Beautiful Class 3 section of water including The Swirlies, Spencer&#39;s Hole, Carnivore, and Mill City Falls. The class 3 rapids can be challenging but they&#39;re pool-drop. This trip would be appropriate for a solid class 2 paddler that doesn&#39;t mind a potential swim. Helmets are required.
