About this event
This is the classic Packsaddle section of the North Santiam with a take-out at Mill City. Beautiful Class 3 section of water including The Swirlies, Spencer's Hole, Carnivore, and Mill City Falls. The flow is around 1600cfs which is a very fun level for this stretch. It is higher and more playful than the lower summer levels but still very much pool drop and still suitable for a confident Class 2 boater trying their first Class 3.
