About this event
We call this section the "Lebanon Town Run" Launching on the S Santiam just above Lebanon, with a takeout on a private property gravel bar about 3 miles below Lebanon, one of my favorite sections of river in the weeknight paddle series. The river dances and splashes a little on a half dozen gravel bars, maintains decent flow without slack pools. This is an excellent paddle for learners and newbies. The launch has a long portage, we have wheeled dollies to help with this. The takeout is gentle and easy.
