Browns Landing is SE of Junction City. This paddle should appeal to our Eugene area residents as its not too far from home. This section will have some large wood in the channel, a paddler will need boat control to stay clear of wood. A distance of <6 miles, this is the longest of the weeknight series paddles. We will need to promptly get on the river to be off the river well before dark. The current is consistent and will move us along. The launch is developed, but steep and degrading, the takeout is an easy gravel bar. Register for this paddle to receive an Email Tuesday evening with details about the launch, shuttle, and takeout.
