About this event
A section of the Santiam with significant splash, this section is technical in that you will need to actively control your boat to keep off rocks, and keep your boat on a desirable line. >8 miles you will need the skillset to actively control your boat, and you need a craft which is maneuverable and durable. Helmets are required. Continuous flow and fun, I do not recall pools on this section. Not true WW but right up to the edge of it. The launch is steep but on a nice gravel bar, the takeout is developed and easy. Register for this paddle to receive an Email Friday evening with details about the Launch, Shuttle, and takeout.
