A 5 mile Holiday Monday paddle on Muddy Creek near Corvallis OR. Weather is forecast to be nice, but come prepared. This paddle covers some of the route of a Weekday Thursday paddle last Summer, but we will launch above and take out above where we did last Summer. Both the launch and takeout are primitive - unimproved. The river is turbid limiting visibility of obstacles. Gradient is shallow, current mild, there will be woody material and trees in the the river. Paddlers will need dry or wet suits as immersion protection. This is not a beginner paddle at this time of year, paddlers will need the skill to maneuver their craft to stay clear of wood and strainers.
