Willamette River Class 1+ Irish Bend Wednesday After Work

A 5 mile paddle of the Willamette in a section of lively moving flow and a little stranding. Access to the river is rare in this section, I have scouted some fisherman's trails which give access onto a choice segment only river campers see. We should be off the water well before dark. Egress is primitive, but not steep. Launch and takeout will be on the Benton County side of the river a little north of Monroe OR. Register for this paddle on the WKCC website to receive an Email with detailed directions to the launch and takeout. Registration also activates your club insurance.

For all WKCC club trips:
1) The club's insurance policy requires all trip participants to sign the liability waiver. If you are inviting others on the trip please be sure they register online to sign the waiver. PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER OTHERS; EVERY PADDLER MUST REGISTER THEMSELF.

2) Parents/legal guardians of participants under the age of 18 must also sign the liability waiver. If you are under 18 please be sure your parent or legal guardian completes their portion of the registration form.

3) PFD with whistle is required per club safety guidelines and Oregon State law.
