A 5.5 mile paddle of the Willamette in a section of lively moving flow and a little stranding. Access to the river is a bugger in this section, Email details will develop a shuttle pre-plan as our launch and takeout are on opposite sides of the river. The launch is developed and easy, takeout is a gentle gravel bar. This paddle is suitable for learners. Register for this paddle on the WKCC website to receive an Email with detailed directions to the launch and takeout. Registration also activates your club insurance. For all WKCC club trips: 1) The club's insurance policy requires all trip participants to sign the liability waiver. If you are inviting others on the trip please be sure they register online to sign the waiver. PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER OTHERS; EVERY PADDLER MUST REGISTER THEMSELF. 2) Parents/legal guardians of participants under the age of 18 must also sign the liability waiver. If you are under 18 please be sure your parent or legal guardian completes their portion of the registration form. 3) PFD with whistle is required per club safety guidelines and Oregon State law.
