North Santiam, Buell Miller to Greens Br. Class 1+ to 2

An 8 mile true moving water paddle on the North Santiam. Present flow is about 900cfm, gradient in this area is about 20fpm. Being reservoir fed the water is clear clean and cold at about 63 degrees, at this temperature immersion is to be avoided. There is woody debris in this section, paddlers will need the skills to maneuver clear of the wood. No portage is expected. This paddle is not suitable for a first paddle, but could be suitable for a learner expanding their skills of control and reading the water. Register for this paddle on the WKCC website to receive an Email with details about the launch, shuttle, and takeout. (registration activates your club insurance)

For all WKCC club trips:
1) The club's insurance policy requires all trip participants to sign the liability waiver. If you are inviting others on the trip please be sure they register online to sign the waiver. PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER OTHERS; EVERY PADDLER MUST REGISTER THEMSELF.

2) Parents/legal guardians of participants under the age of 18 must also sign the liability waiver. If you are under 18 please be sure your parent or legal guardian completes their portion of the registration form.

3) PFD with whistle is required per club safety guidelines and Oregon State law.
