The classic "Eugene Town Run" lengthened a little and weekend posted. 2900cfm at 61 degrees, unprotected immersion is to be avoided. 7.5 miles of a blend of moving class 1 and areas where the river flows through bedrock perking up to big splashy class 2 to 2+ standing waves and play spots. A paddler may be able to select their line and go for the big waves or route clear of waves for a milder flow. There is a weir in this stretch, last year we paddled around the end of it without a portage. Specific points of this route are mild white water, paddlers will need an appropriate paddle craft with their gear secured. Paddlers will need the skill set to have directional control. Not a suitable paddle for a newbie, could be a suitable paddle for a learner with the right gear stepping up to class 2. For all WKCC club trips:
1) The club's insurance policy requires all trip participants to sign the liability waiver. If you are inviting others on the trip please be sure they register online to sign the waiver. PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER OTHERS; TO BE INSURED EVERY PADDLER MUST REGISTER THEMSELF.

2) Parents/legal guardians of participants under the age of 18 must also sign the liability waiver. If you are under 18 please be sure your parent or legal guardian completes their portion of the registration form.

3) PFD with whistle is required per club safety guidelines and Oregon State law.
