Calapooia River, Class 1+ Above Albany Area, 8 Miles

The Calapooia being low gradient and low flow at this time of year is not pushy enough to have much risk of pinning someone. Yes it is woody, we cope. The Calapooia lacks reservoirs and its flow wains as Summer comes. Paddle this seasonal gem with us while there is still some water in the river. This paddle is suitable for learners.
