Half of the classic Peoria to Corvallis paddle, being an evening paddle the distance of Peoria to Corvallis is too far - So we will cut it in half, do the upper 1/2 this week, the lower 1/2 next week. This paddle is suitable for learners and newbies, its big river with consistent flow. Wood is scant, but where present needs to be avoided. Excellent launch from a public boat launch, easy takeout on a shallow private gravel bar.
