About this event
8.2 miles of splashy sassy river. This paddle will present like a Creeking Paddle, but with larger water volume. In this section the river has entered the Willamette Valley, it widens and slows a little. Generally a Class 1 moving water paddle, there is some wood in this section creating a few spots that are technical and require boat handling control. Not suitable as a first time paddle, this paddle is suitable for a learner with some moving water experience seeking to step it up a little. Short maneuverable craft are needed here.
