About this event
OK, I'm going to try again. Let's hope the long range forecast is accurate this time. This is an easy Class 1 run that ends with two modest Class 2 drops. It's appropriate for whitewater beginners, including SUP paddlers, with good boat control and significant moving water experience. This is intended to be a training trip for those paddlers who want to get into whitewater. It's not appropriate for total beginners. Helmets, PFD, whistle, and dry or wet suits mandatory. Soggy Sneakers, 5th Edition, #17, the lower section described in the last two paragraphs. For those unfamiliar with this run, the put-in is 43 miles from Corvallis.
