Club Meeting Tuesday, December 3, 2019, 7 PM--Thanks Rob!!
Our speaker was Rob Blickensderfer on 54 Years Down the John Day River. Many thanks to him for a great presentation. And thanks Rob for taking the time to find and scan those old photos. They were fun to see. Rob's planning to write an article for WKCC's Paddler View newsletter about his experiences. Watch for it. The top photo below was taken in 1969 at the Service Creek put-in. Note the skin on frame kayaks.
WKCC has four member meetings a year. The next will be our winter program. Stay tuned for details!! We try to rotate location. I think the next one will be in Eugene--but not sure yet, stay tuned!! As always everyone is welcome at our meetings.
Safety Weekend 2020, July 25/26. Signup starts in the spring. Stay tuned!!
